Dr. Farida Saher is a proud born-and-raised Albertan. She graduated from the University of Alberta with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2007. She then completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Alberta Hospital. Dr. Saher settled in Calgary after gaining her Pediatric Dentistry Specialty Training in Boston.

Over the years, she has developed more and more of a passion and aptitude for treating children with anxiety and patients of all ages with special needs. Making both patients and parents feel comfortable is Dr. Saher’s main goal.

When she is not working, Dr. Saher loves to travel. She has travelled to Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Haiti and Peru with the dental charity Kindness in Action to provide dental care to children in remote, under-served and under-privileged areas.
